Day 1-3 : Las Vegas

Check in to Luxor Hotel in Las Vegas. This luxurious, pyramid-shaped hotel is located right in the heart of the city on The Strip, Las Vegas Boulevard.

Day 4: Los Angeles Embark Departs 16:00

Welcome to the gateway to fame and fortune, year-round sunshine, endless beaches and excitement. Lose yourself in the stars and palm trees of Beverly Hills. Be discovered strolling along ´City Walk´ at Universal Studios, or drop in on fabulous Disneyland. Take a walk down Sunset and Vine and meet the stars of film and screen.

Day 5

Relaxing Day at Sea

Day 6 : Cabo San Lucas, Mexico Arrive 12:00 Depart 19:00

The hundreds of luxury hotel rooms along the Corridor north of Cabo San Lucas have transformed this formerly rustic and rowdy outpost. Although it retains boisterous nightlife, Cabo San Lucas is no longer the simple town Steinbeck wrote about. Once legendary for big-game fish, Cabo San Lucas now draws more people for its nearby world-class fairways and greens. This has become Mexico´s most elite resort destination.

Day 7 : Mazatlán, Mexico Arrive 08:00 Depart 17:00

If you hear something in Mazatlan that sounds like German folk music, then you’ve heard right. The Banda music is the legacy of German immigrants who laid the foundation for Mexico’s largest Pacific harbour in the 19th century. You get an initial overview of the harbour and city from El Faro lighthouse: it rises 152 metres above sea level and is thus the second highest in the world. Back below, a visit to the Pino Suarez market is worthwhile. Meanwhile, nature lovers take a boat excursion to the nearby lagoons to observe cranes, pelicans, flamingos and ospreys.

Day 8 : Puerto Vallarta, Mexico Arrive 08:00 Depart 17:00

Puerto Vallarta´s seductive innocence captivates its visitors. Beyond the cobblestone streets, graceful cathedral, and welcoming atmosphere, Puerto Vallarta offers a wealth of natural beauty and manmade pleasures. Twenty-six miles of beaches extend from the center of the town around the bay, and several tucked in pristine coves, that are accessible only by boat. High in the Sierra Madre Mountains, the mystical Huichol Indians still live in relative isolation in an effort to protect their centuries-old culture from outside influences.

PRAGUE,VIENNA AND BUDAPEST

Service rating : Everything required was handled well, with early delivery of the necessary tickets and other travel information
Product : Had an excellent trip. The hotels were only a few minutes walking from the main visitor areas of each city and of a very high standard. The train travel between cities went very smoothly and was an excellent way to see more of each country.
Particular highlights were:
- Walking tour in Prague - a long day but well worth it, excellent guide with detailed knowledge of the city, great food and really nice group to spend a day with in a foreign town
- The Hotel in Vienna was excellent, getting pretty much a suite rather than a basic room with good on-site facilities.

Only thing I would suggest avoiding would be the bus tours. Both in Vienna and Budapest these were a bit disappointing and nowhere near as enjoyable or informative as the walking tour in Prague. The guides on both were rather brusque and unfriendly and I personally wouldn't book another one like that.

PRAGUE,VIENNA AND BUDAPEST

Everything was well organised. The hotels in each of the cities were lovely, especially in Vienna. The tickets arrived in good time and staff were helpful with my questions when I rang up.
Would happily recommend to others.

PRAGUE,VIENNA AND BUDAPEST

The trip overall was good value for money. The hotels were all of a good standard but were outside of the town centres. We found it more difficult to find places to eat in the evenings without travelling either by taxi or public transport. We booked the optional excursions which were also good but it would have been helpful to have more information regarding their format as one involved a lot of walking which we were not aware of. The train journeys were all manageable although there were problems with the taxis from some stations wanting to overcharge us, although that was not any fault of Viva Holidays.

PRAGUE,VIENNA AND BUDAPEST

Service rating : Viva Holidays arranged everything and noticing our home address offered a local airport departure point. Flights were basic economy but these short haul trips were ok. Travel, accommodation and excursion documents arrived drip feed and you are advised to make sure you print off each and look out for your train tickets which arrive by post. Trains were very busy and booked seats are a must have. I missed the arrival of train tickets so had to buy others. Viva were helpful in providing the booked seat nos. We didn't have paperwork to back this up if challenged but worked out ok.
Product : This 3 centre trip was great and we really enjoyed each city immensely. The hotels rooms were lovely and service was good. The optional excursions were interesting and informative although the 6 hour outing in Prague involved a lot of walking. My only slightly negative comment is that 2 days in each city made the experience feel the schedule was hectic.

Service rating : Absolutely no problems, everything went to plan.
Product : Enjoyable city breaks with tours on a budget. Hotels were fine with excellent breakfasts and good locations. Travel went without a hitch.
