An unforgettable trip to Italy's watery wonderland of romantic Venice, with a scenic Mediterranean cruise through Montenegro and Greece – includes all travel

Food, art, history, and life-enriching landscapes – Italy’s got it all. Embrace la dolce vita on a city-hop from the romantic waterways of Venice to the enchanting old town of port-side Bari, all before your unforgettable cruise takes you to Kotor in Montenegro and around Greece’s hot spots.

You’ll start your escape in canal-laced Venice. On arrival through the Venetian maze of alleys, you can’t miss Hotel Santa Marina’s distinctive primrose yellow exterior and wooden shuttered windows. The interiors make an equally bold impression - red-and-white marble floors, gilt-framed paintings, wood panelling and Murano glass. With all this flamboyance, you’d never guess that in its former life it was a convent.

After a night and day exploring the likes of St Marks Square and the Rialto Bridge, you’ll board your seven-night cruise. After docking in Kotor for the day, and admiring its medieval old town, centuries-old churches and the cliffs of Mount Lovcen, you’ll spend some time at sea, cruising towards the breathtaking Greek Islands. Soak up the sun in Mykonos, admire the iconic, majestic caldera vistas in stunning Santorini, and take a hike in the rugged mountains of Corfu.

You’ll sail back to Italy for a night in Bari, before heading back to Venice for your trip home. You’ll be well catered for aboard your MSC cruise too; whether you’re on MSC Opera, Sinfonia or Magnifica, each boasts a plethora of top-class facilities and services, from a selection of bars and eateries to a casino, disco, theatre, and shopping area – something to suit everyone.

She spent time with me working out all the finer details. The original destination I didn’t want to go to and the flights were not very nice times. So she talked through other destinations and flight times.

Great service throughout , we had exactly what we expected and would use Viva again

Service rating : The experience was excellent. The guides were very informative and they knew their history,

The hotels were an excellent choice and all staff were very helpful and polite.

The only bad experience was being taken to shops/workshops where we were shown items of jewellery, clothing or shown how traditional works are done and (although not expected or pressurised) felt that the vendor tried to sell the items to us when we did not wish to purchase any of them. I did not pay to be taken to these places and did feel very uncomfortable when the patrons told us that we would only need to pay (an amount) and they would ship this direct to our house, no hassle!!! we did tell the last guide that we did not want to go to any of these shops/workshops.
Product : excellent value for money

Viva holidays were very helpful however there was no transfers included in the package. Which left us to sort it out ourselves plus the hotels were very far from the city centre.
Their customer service was really good.
