A health-and-beauty spa offers massage, hydrotherapy, body treatments, men’s and women’s facials, waxing, and hair and nail care (surcharges) and provides saunas and steam rooms. Treatment options include Thalassotherapy algae and seaweed baths, couples massage, aromatherapy salt scrubs, and body wraps (surcharges).

Sunset-The resort’s main restaurant serves a buffet-style breakfast with made-to-order omelets, full lunch with a choice of either the buffet or an á la carte menu that changes daily and a dinner menu of á la carte continental cuisine. In addition, a British-style high tea is elegantly served ever y afternoon from 3:00 to 4:30pm. Sweet and savor y pastries, scones and finger sandwiches are presented to each table on a three-tiered tray. Guests also have their choice of over 15 flavorful varieties of tea, each served from a teapot, or fresh coffee served from a French press.

FEnid’s-Offering classic Bajan cuisine in a colorful, festive atmosphere, this restaurant is open for dinner only.

Dining & Entertainment:

Dining at Almond Beach Club & Spa is a gourmet experience. There are three restaurants to choose from at the resort, and guests may also enjoy five dining establishments at the nearby Almond Beach Village and three at Almond Casuarina Beach via a complimentary shuttle service.

Room ser vice is offered for lunch or dinner, and reservations are required in all restaurants for dinner only. The resort has four bars, including the signature Tommy’s Bar - a true Bajan rum shop. Live entertainment is offered nightly in the form of a piano bar with pianist, sing-along and nightly floor shows. In addition, a Manager’s Cocktail Party is held weekly.

Activities & Sports:

Almond guests have access to sailboats, snorkeling gear, windsurfing equipment, pedal boats, and kayaks as well as water skis, banana boats, rods and reels for fishing off the beach, and one lighted tennis court. This is part of the all-inclusive Caribbean vacation package guests receive when they vacation at Almond Resorts. In addition, Almond Beach Club & Spa has three freshwater swimming pools as well as a cool freshwater jacuzzi for guests to relax in.

At the adults-only all-inclusive resort, Almond Club & Spa caters to the relaxation and rejuvenation of its guests. A courtyard with tall tropical plantings contains a large, two-level pool divided by a waterfall, an eight-person cool-water spa tub flowing into another pool, and a sunning lawn furnished with lounge chairs. The Caribbean Sea washes up to coral-rock formations along the resort's 100-yard water frontage. Above the rocks is a sand terrace furnished with lounge chairs—shaded by trees in mornings, but sunny in afternoons.

SAlmond Beach Club and Spa offers 161 rooms in 7 categories. The three and four floor room blocks surround the gardens, pools, lounges and restaurants. All include air-conditioning, private bath/shower or walk-in shower, safety deposit box, ceiling fan, hair dryer, direct-dial telephone, alarm clock radio, tea/coffee maker and satellite color TV. Other than Standard and Deluxe Oceanview rooms, rooms on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th floors have balconies and offer one king or two twin beds. For parties of more than 2, additional guests are accommodated on twin rollaways. Most rooms have a balcony or patio; some have French balconies.

Our Kids' Club offers activities for children – ranging from three to twelve – that include beach and pool activities, lessons in local dance, culture and music, plus computers and video games. Movies, water sports, disco night and much more await teens who visit our shores. And finally, for our parents, you can find refuge in the solitude of our spa, a late dinner for just two, or simply spend some time together at the adult-only North pool (shown above). Doing nothing at all. Which is truly a vacation in itself.

Almond Beach Village has ten freshwater swimming pools as well as two cool freshwater jacuzzis for its Caribbean vacationers, including the North pool (shown above) that is adults only. As part of the all-inclusive resort features, guests will be able to participate in numerous water and land sports, including hobie cat sailing, snorkeling, waterskiing, windsurfing, reel fishing, aquacycles, kayaks, fishing, squash, tennis and par 3 nine-hole "executive" golf course. On our executive course we allow only the use of Cayman balls. These balls are used for saftey reasons and are specially designed to travel 50 to 80 percent of the distance of a traditional golf ball.

Dining & Entertainment
There are five restaurants to choose from at the resort and three at the nearby Almond Beach Club & Spa (guests 16 years and over only) and three at Almond Casuarina Beach. Throughout the day, snacks are available from the beach grill, and room ser vice is offered for lunch and dinner. Reservations are required for all restaurants for dinner only with the exception of Enid’s. In addition, the resort has five bars, including the signature Tommy’s Bar - a true Bajan rum shop. Nightly entertainment includes live music and shows, a weekly Manager’s Cocktail Party, and after 11pm guests can enjoy Rachel’s Nightclub. A complimentary shuttle allows guests to visit the other properties on Barbados.

Also, as a way of some feedback, the Safir Hotel in Cairo that you recommended to us exceeded our expectation, the hotel was superb and the cuisine excellent, catering well for vegetarians.

How satisfied are you overall with the holiday we offered to you?

More than satisfied with the holiday overall, however we didn't realise until after the holiday was booked that we were flying out of one airport and flying into another. This obviously did create an inconvenience as we were unable to take our car, which is our preferred form of travel to the airport and had to make other arrangements.

How satisfied are you with the clarity of information or advice provided about your holiday?

The information was emailed to me straight away with all the details that I would need, plus a hard copy followed in the post.

How satisfied are you with the courtesy of the staff?

Bhussan was extremely professional and helped with my further enquiries once the holiday was booked. I would most definately consider using Viva Tours and Travel again for my holidays. Also I well be mentioning this to family and friends.

I thought I would just let you know how pleased we all were with our recent holiday to Egypt. I must admit I was a little sceptical booking on the internet, however at every point we were met by the local representatives who couldn’t have been more accommodating.

Dear all,

We recently returned from our holiday to Egypt.

We had booked 11 nights at Sharm-el Sheikh with a two day / one night trip to Cairo included. Your staff had found us all of the flights (both international and domestic in Egypt), hotels, bus transfers and tours in Cairo to the Pyramids.

I recall looking at the itinery when we booked it and thinking that it would be a miracle if everything ran smoothly. Well we didn't need a miracle - it did all work excellently. All of the flights were on time, our bus transfers were there when we needed them and the Hotels met our needs. The trips to the Pyramids and to the Sound & Light show were very good as well.

The only downside was the dysentry that we all got in the Sierra Hotel in Sharm-el Sheikh. The Sierra is a lovely hotel with very friendly and helpful staff but although the place mostly looks clean there is a problem with stomach bugs. I believe that 90% of the guests that were there at the same time as us suffered with the same symptoms of sickness, diarrhoea and stomach cramps. That, however is not your fault!

We would like to thank all of you for the great job you did of organising our trip for us. Special thanks to Bhusshan and Sabina for their help.
